There are so many. As a part of the Australian Costumers Guild, we make our own events up just so that we can costume. But there is a general round of events that I attend every year (or try to).

ACG Ball (last weekend in August in Adelaide)

Proclamation Day at Newstead House (the day that Queensland became it's own state)
