And for a little progress on my JAFA projects, I got to and fixed up the ballet flat shoes that I bought. I found these little flats at a shoe store in Strathpine. I'm very pleased that I found them, as I have wanted some shoes that would work with my pale coloured evening gowns. Of course since these are a champagne satin they will go with everything rather nicely.My addition is the elastic strap that I have sewn across the foot so that they do not go flying off my feet when I dance. The idea is that it won't be very noticeable because I will have white stockings on with the shoes. It was a little awkward getting the shoes under the sewing machine foot, but I somehow managed to do it.
